  • Access to our Foundational Training Video Library (value $369)

  • 6 in-person training sessions

  • Program topics explore (but are not limited to): 

    • the 3 steps of pack leadership

    • understanding your dog's social needs

    • how to set and maintain clear boundaries

      • ​food, greetings, doors, prey-drive, leash-walking

    • creative communication tools for high-distraction situations

    • building calm confidence in your dog across a variety of environments

    • using games to build cooperative behaviors when your dog is in an excited state

  • We work with all breeds of dogs, big and small, including dogs struggling with aggression

Pack Transformation Complete (Part I+II) includes:

  • Part I materials, resources, and in-person training sessions

  • An additional 6 in-person training sessions

  • Advanced Training:

    • focused walks in high-distraction areas​

    • advanced recall (even around distractions)

    • navigating dog parks and other off-leash areas

    • developing nuanced social skills for meeting dogs and people

  • Before graduation, all Strong Bond service dog teams must...​

    • pass public behavior testing​

    • demonstrate task proficiency

    • complete lifestyle integration

Therapy Dog Training Program

Volunteer in hospitals and special programs.

Therapy Dog Program includes:

  • A customized training plan tailored to your volunteering goals (hospitals, schools, nursing homes, etc.) 

  • Lifelong access to our online and written resources

    • Therapy Dog Reference Guide (value $120)

    • Foundational Training Video Library (value $369)

  • Therapy Dog Skill Development:

    • advanced social skills for engaging gently and appropriately with people in settings such as schools, hospitals, senior living centers, and counseling offices​

    • desensitization training for working in environments that may include medical equipment, loud noises, or unexpected movements

    • exposure to real-world environments to help your dog build adaptability, focus, and confidence during visits​

Testing Preparation

  • If you can provide us with the testing requirements for the location you plan to volunteer, we'll customize your training plan to include those skills
